Walk for your lifeA Free Course with Charme For many of us, a lifetime of exercise program is just too hard. Lack of time is often our excuse. But we know that one doesn’t find time, one makes time for the necessary things. And what is more necessary than our health? (Do we have to sit and watch the news every night, or could we perhaps listen to it on the radio at some other time and use the news time for our well-being?). Walking is easy. Well, for most of us, it is. Sometimes it is so easy it is just plain boring. We start off intending to walk every day for 20 minutes, but soon it doesn’t happen, for one reason or another, mainly because we are just tired of doing it. We all know the benefits of walking – improved cardiovascular health, better breathing, improved muscle and bone structure, better posture, weight control, easing of depression and anxiety. But these benefits are not obvious as they occur, and they can be very slow coming, anyway. Preparation for walking is easy, too. Good shoes and socks, sun cream, comfortable clothes. Oh, don’t forget your ambition. Ambition for a walk, you say? Yes, lots of ambition. With a definite purpose for your walk, you will look forward to stepping it out. Would you like a program which will help you get out there and doing it? A walking program that will be the envy of your friends? Not a gentle stroll, but you will use whatever your current fitness level and ability is, as your starting point; from there, it is progression. There are levels of achievement in the program, each takes time and distance. You cannot rush out and walk all weekend and reach your goal. It doesn’t work that way, (and you won’t get your certificate!). For anyone who wishes to try this free program, either alone or with friends, send an e-mail to me at Xgeorgem@tadaust.org.au Remove the X first, to email me, and I will reply as soon as I can and get you started.
